Assessing student teachers’ agency and using it for predicting commitment to teaching

In this paper, we focus on the professional agency of student teachers in initial teacher education context. Based ecological model agency, a questionnaire was developed for self-reported assessment three domains: planning teaching and learning activities, diverse ability students same class, using ICT teaching. Confirmatory Factor Analysis used to validate structure instrument all domains data from 168 teachers. The findings confirmed that student-teacher could be described through dimensions (iterational, projective, practical-evaluative) studied domains. addition, found, path analysis, two predicted commitment
